we sold our beautiful puerto seguro. we have had this boat since 2003. first under the name of freebird when it was esteban’s home. then in 2008, we changed its name; completely refitted and changed its equipment and looks; and made puerto seguro into the fierce sailing machine and beautiful home that took us around the world from 2009 through 2012. at the end of 2012 our morgan was born and we decided to drop anchors for some time. since January 2013 we have been together in dry land enjoying as a family, coping with diapers and feedings through the night,- which make long overnight passages seem like a breeze! we sold puerto seguro in May 2013.

Congrats on selling your boat! I've been reading the blog and you both (now as a family) are a wonderful inspiration for living life to the fullest. ReplyDeleteIt's great that you had the chance to do this before taking on the responsibilities of parenting. There are some things that require a lot of our attention and having children is one of those. Your detailed descriptions and notes are very useful and we all appreciate them.
